Nice but had to varnish/seal them due to knowing mold would be attracted to the bare wooden frames. This is because of living in a humid bushy semi tropical environment.

I do a lot of watercolors and need plain wood frames of different sizes that I can either stain or paint, depending on the artwork, and had not been able to find just the perfect frame – till now! I ordered a 3-pack of 9×12 just to try out, and when they arrived, I was blown away after looking at the the sheer perfection of the oak wood used to make them. I did not even need to sand the wood; I just went ahead and stained the first one 10 minutes after I opened the Amazon box! The stain went on evenly and looked beautiful (see photos). Yes, there are joined spots in the wood, I expected there would be, but even with this light stain (golden oak), you have to really look to see them! And after staining just one light coat, the frame needed just another light coat of water-based polyurethane (I use varathane) and honestly, a little under an hour from when the package was delivered, the frame went from unfinished wood to oak-stained framed artworkl which is unbelievable! I will definitely be getting many, many more from this seller, and can only hope and pray the quality and price stay just like they are for many more years!!

Los marcos son bonitos, normales. Nada del otro mundo. El vendedor pésimo trato y servicio. Quise devolver el producto porque lo encontré a un mucho mejor precio. Pero el vendedor quiere cobrar carísimo el envío. Amazon no debería de permitir a esos vendedores que tratan mal al cliente

these look really nice. wood appears a little cheap up close, but the overall impression is solid. it was a breeze hanging an 8 x 10 print. I like the mounting on the back.

These wooden frames exceeded my expectations. Th wood frame feels solid and well-made, not flimsy like some other frames I’ve bought in the past. They are light given the plexiglass fronts but they have a clean, timeless look that works perfectly with any decor. My only negative is that the plexiglass is reflective, but not enough to deter me from keeping them.
The clips on the back are a little bit of a nuisance to open in order to change the artwork, they require a flat head screw driver to save your nails.
All in all they’re good frames for the price.

The frames look nice. However, one of the frames had a pane of glass that was scratched. I would prefer to not send all the frames back and I am hoping the seller can just send a single replacement pane. I submitted a comment via the store page and I am waiting to hear back.
