It took me quite a while to get this looking the way I had hoped it would look. The design is clever, but super flimsy. I bought 2 sets to go side-by-side on the wall and Umbra sent me a third when I sent them pictures of crooked frames in one of the sets. Be aware that there is no matting in the frames–the photos are supposed to be centered in the glass and the wall behind serves as the border.
My main problem with this set is that the frames are not flush on the wall so you get weird shadows that ruin the border effect. (Note: for those of you mounting it that way, tiny, thin glue dots on the back of the top and bottom should help you keep them centered between the glass panels.) When I decided to purchase mats for the frames I found that they were not standard US sizes, so I could not purchase an inexpensive multipack of mats. Instead I found a company on Etsy that would custom cut them for me at almost $7/ mat.
So, it looks nice now, but the framing set is way overpriced for the quality of the product. I would only recommend it if you are well aware that you are taking on a project and most likely will have to spend additional money to get it looking the way that you want.

I had a blank wall I was looking to hang something on. Then I came across this beauty and decided to take a chance and order it. Turns out I love it. It fit the wall well and I just added my own photos. It’s a great gift if your in the predicament of not knowing what to buy someone.

We love these frames. Have installed 3 sets now. Very easy to install. The hooks can be a little fiddly to put on but once the frame is on it’s very sturdy. Love that you can make multiple combinations. Amazon is the best price.

I had a hard time rating this because I really like it. BUT – the bar the the frames hang on is kind of flimsy. Once installed, it does stiffen up, but because it’s flimsy, it makes installation much harder to get a nice straight line. The instructions are easy to follow. The frames are good quality with real glass. However, one of my large frames did come broken…So I’m going to look to remedy that. The overall quality is good (besides the initial flimsy bar). It looks great hanging on the wall going upstairs.

We had a large blank space in our stair way. This worked great we were able to use our own pictures of nature to make a blank space come alive. Assembly was easy. I would highly recommend this picture system it looks great.

I’ve been so happy with this purchase! It’s a great value for the money. I’ve had my eye on a similar product from pottery barn and so glad I opted for this more affordable option. It wasn’t too difficult to install and the quality is great! I was a little worried the frames would fall due to them hanging on a hook but I’ve not had a single one fall in over a year.
