Look, you get what you pay for. In this case? They probably could be priced a little cheaper? But when you are trying to give photos as gifts because you are poor, and you don’t have time to find the perfect frame at the 99-cent store? These are a great solution.
As gifts, all the colors should work in some area of everyone’s home. If they don’t, it was a GIFT. If they don’t like it, they can buy a different frame. Right? I like that the manufacturer gave very accurate representation with their pictures. There is a close up photo of the the 4 corners of all the frames. It accurately portrays the colors and the texture of what you will receive. I think the description states “wood grain finish”. Ha! Not really. These have a smooth plastic finish with a wood grain looking coat of paint. You would assume “rustic” means wood, but apparently plastic is cheaper than cheap wood these days.
Some people might complain that the photo covers are plastic and not glass, but I appreciate how light it makes these and I won’t ever have to worry about broken glass on the floor when the next big Earthquake hits… Or when someone accidentally slams the door too hard. They cover each plastic piece with film on both sides, that you have to patiently find the edge of to peel off. You’ll feel right home as you sit there thinking about those plastic bags you can never get open in the produce aisle.
Several hours later you’ll finally have your 4 pictures installed, an entire season of “The Office” complete, and now you have those awesome fragile backings to deal with. I say “fragile” for a reason. Did you notice the manufacturer did NOT include a clear photo of their backing? Yeah, I noticed. You got those pesky thin metal pegs on the frame you have to make sure are bent back enough, but not too much because they might break off. Then it’s time to place the cardboard backing that’s just slightly too small. I guess that’s better than being slightly too big, but make sure you get it aligned to one side or the other to help with stability.
So if these are gifts? You don’t need to worry at this point. If they break it, they will never tell you. Hanging these are not really an issue. It has the landscape and profile options in the back. Most people use that double sided tape stuff to avoid holes in their wall, and honestly? It would work perfect for how light these are. But if you are posing these on your table or desk or dash of your car? That back angler piece is super delicate. Place where you want and leave it. Don’t keep opening and closing it because you’ll find yourself right back here ordering replacement backings. As a tip? Find your angle and use a little super glue to make it permanent. You know it’s going to sit there for the next 2 years gathering dust. Why not?
Overall, for most these frames are going to be “just fine” for the price. Nothing great. But for the budgeted folks like me? They’re perfect.

Plastic frame and plastic pane instead of glass, but I’m fine with that! I think they look nice.

I absolutely love these pictures frames. I bought them to go with some art that I purchased somewhere else that didn’t come in frames. The fit was absolutely perfect and I love the colors they came in, they compliment each other nicely. You should definitely get these picture frames.

Nice looking not glass just plastic but I think I like that better. However not sturdy. When putting up one fell and 3 feet on carpet smashed in several pieces.

I will be buying these again. I absolutely love these frames. Even though they are inexpensive, they look extremely classy. I ended up buying Different color mats to go inside these frames and it made it look even more expensive. I sell my art with these frames. And my customers are extremely happy.
The only thing that I don’t like about the frames, I do wish they had glass instead of the plexiglass. But honestly, it’s not that big of a deal.
