This picture frame is well made (in the USA), it’s sturdy and the fact that it uses plexiglas instead of breakable glass is a huge bonus; of course, it can scratch but as long as you’re careful that’s not a problem.
I bought it as a replacement for one that had glass both at the front and at the back (silly design), and of course it was just a matter of time before it came crashing down into a million pieces.
You won’t have that issue with this frame. It’s also lighter thanks to the plexiglas.
Now for the not-so-great news: this is raw wood, with no paint or varnish on it. Of course you could use it as-is if you prefer, but to make it look really nice you need to stain and varnish it (remove the plexiglas first). This wasn’t a problem for me since I have everything I needed at home and I’m handy with a paint brush, but I wish that the seller would have made buyers aware of this situation. So beware and don’t buy unless you’re ready to do some painting or to use it without any protection.

These Americanflat 12×18 poster frames were way better than I expected for the price. Super easy to install my movie theater posters, and they really enhanced the way they look-gave them a clean, professional finish without any hassle.
The frames hold the posters tightly with no need for any modifications or extra backing. Shipping was fast, and the price was more than reasonable for the quality. I’d definitely purchase more if the theater would hand out more free posters (guessing they’re on a budget these days!).
Highly recommend if you’re looking for affordable, good-looking frames that get the job done right.

I bought this to frame a diamond painting that I made as a gift. Perfect, came quickly, well protected. The frame itself is nice, the corners are all neat, color is good, gold is a nice shade, not brassy looking. The “glass” is a thin plexiglass, with a protector film to peel off on the front and back ensuring no scratch marks. I would buy it again and would recommend it.

In the past few weeks I have ordered a variety of the frames made by this company. I am so happy with them! They are well made (very sturdy), look clean and elegant, and are a fantastic cost proposition! So easy to setup up and use. I was able to hang them quickly and easily. And although I know the jury is split on glass vs plexi, the plexi on these is great and really well protected for shipping. The black and white frames are equally as stunning, so it just depends on your needs.
