A really lovely and sturdy bench, very comfortable to sit on and a nice smooth finish to the wood. It was very easy to put together and didn’t take long to do so. I would definitely recommend this bench. This is a two seater but it’s on the larger side, so not bumping elbows if you’re sitting next to someone. Easy to paint as I wanted a sage green finish.

Looks good and is comfortable BUT it took two of us to put it together over a couple of days. Some of the screws were difficult to bed in because of the angles and its fiddly. However with patience it is worth it.

Love love love the bench in my front garden! Had lots of compliments on it too. Cheapest I could find that was still great quality hardwood & country style. Was a bit fiddly getting screws in as other reviews say, but I did it on my own (female) in about 40 minutes so not bad.

This is a sturdy bench seat once constructed but it is by no means easy to put together. Fitting the bolts into the nuts has to be done blind so there is a considerable amount of trial and error before the two coincide. As always with such projects, it pays to tighten the bolts only partially until the whole unit is built in case you need to backtrack to insert a missing piece. Once completed the seat looks very good and is comfortable.

It’s a pretty bench, but putting it together was problematic as two of the bolts sheared in the process, and required some lateral thinking to get around the issue. Still, I’ve enjoyed sitting on it, and it hasn’t collapsed!
