I had high expectations for this lamp. I bought two of them online for my bedside tables, instead of the gold coloured cables that you normally get when you buy a gold or brass lamp, these lamps came with black cable and black plugs. Also, as you fit the shade onto the base, there is no “sitting position” for it, it slides all over the place. Therefore, when you screw the lamp holder on to it, it takes forever to try to make the shade look straight on the base. I honestly don’t want this hassle every time I remove the shade to clean it. Having waited a week for them to be delivered, I’m extremely disappointed to have to return them!

Purchased the Vogue Asher 6-light ceiling fitting for main large bedroom as part of a refurbishment. Wanted to purchase a similar matching bedside lamp but there was no Asher lamp in the range. This small Vogue Arkomo lamp is almost the same in style, the only difference is the shade has an amber tint to it. With a 4w filament bulb recommended by dunelm, this lamp looks as equally gorgeous when lit as the Asher ceiling light does. When lit the lamp gives off a a lovely array of relaxing light. Having first thought there was a negative point with this lamp with the shade not sitting on the base unit securely …. 2 weeks into use I have realised that it does. You just have to unscrew the top of the lamp holder and this secures the shade when it is screwed back in place. This lamp compliments the Asher ceiling fitting and
finishes the look of the bedroom as a bedside light.
Update: Asher ceiling fitting looks so nice have now purchased same to fit in the lounge and dining rooms. To compliment these additional ceiling fittings I have also purchased a second Arkoma lamp as so impressed with it.
